Not enough or way too much

Currently Playing: Hawthorne Heights - Ohio Is For Lovers

Over a month without an update. The last few weeks of Winter quarter were way too busy; but now, finally, spring break is here.

If you read my last entry, you'd know that one of my hard drives died. Well, the rest of my computer kind of died as well. I've had my computer for about three and a half years now without any significant upgrades, so I figured it was about time to revamp my whole setup. I upgraded almost everything, spending quite a bit of money in the process. But hey, it'll probably be another three or four years before I have to upgrade again. Here's a list of what's new, for anyone who's interested. A lot of the prices are no longer the same on the websites I bought stuff from.

Motherboard and CPU Combo: $179.99
Intel Pentium 4 3.2GHz E (800FSB) Box CPU and Via PT800 verCE Chipset

Case and PSU Combo: $45.00
Rosewill Black ATX Mid-Tower Case with 430W Power Supply

Video Card: Stolen from my brother who couldn't use the AGP
VisionTek Xtasy ATI Radeon 9550 128MB 8x AGP

Keyboard and Mouse Combo: $60 After rebate (Bought by my dad)
Logitech Cordless Desktop LX 700

And best of all:
LCD Monitor: $509.15
Dell UltraSharp 2005FPW 20.1-inch Wide Aspect Flat Panel LCD Monitor

Total: $734.14 out of my own pocket

Wow, I didn't realize it was so much until I added it all together...even though most of it is the monitor. I guess that's not a bad price for a pretty much completely brand new computer. And my winnings from my now retired Party Poker career will cover everything but the monitor. I will just win the rest back in Vegas. Vegas baby!

Randomness: I just watched Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom today with my dad and I was suprised to see Michael Moore listed as the second unit director in the credits.
