Tell me what you got away with

Currently Playing: Brand New - Seventy Times 7

As promised, here are the pictures of my windshield after it was hit by a golf ball while I was driving on the freeway:

From the front

Another angle

From inside the car

So as you can see, pretty bad damage. I had to shell out $190 to get it replaced.

$190 gone. For no fucking reason or fault of mine at all! $190 to be able to say that I almost died from a golf ball shattering my windshield while driving on the freeway. Of all the random things that could happen, I did not expect this.

Whatever.

Randomness: To prove my point that my car is in fact a HYBRID, not electric car, here are pictures:

Random Driving Rant: I was driving on the I-5 South near the 805 junction in the 2nd lane from the right. Then, this car coming off the I-5 onramp from the 56 West starts to merge into the right-most lane. Fine, that's normal. I maintain a constant speed of 75 mph or so and pass that car, just as it finishes merging into the right-most lane, only to see her giving me the middle finger. Apparently she wanted to do a double lane change, and I got in her way. How the fuck was I supposed to know that? I was supposed to be able to figure that out from you signaling and changing lanes normally?! And even if I did know, there's no way in hell I'm slowing down to 65 mph just for you. And you proceed to have to gall to flip me off?! Fuck me you say? No lady, fuck you.

It's that sort of thing that makes you lose your objectivity

Currently Playing: Straylight Run - The Perfect Ending

I have no problem waking up for 8am classes anymore. My alarm went of at 6:45am, I got up promptly, took a shower, and even had a little time to surf the web before I had to leave.

This, coming from the same person who wasn't able to get up before 1pm and purposely scheduled classes so that there was no need to get up before 1pm. Well, that's not really true. There were some early classes I could not avoid taking, but I would just pretend that I wasn't enrolled. I feel like I have lost a part of my identity, part of who I am.

Randomness: A golf ball cracked my windshield while I was driving on the freeway. I hate golf.

Pictures later.
